Overview: Singapore Polytechnic is the first polytechnic established in Singapore. The mission of the Polytechnic is to educate and nurture our students to excel in work and in life, and to equip adult learners with skills and knowledge to enhance their employability. Based in the Department of Student Services, the appointee will work in a team with the Special Needs Advisor to provide support for students with special educational needs (SEN) in Singapore Polytechnic.



Singapore Polytechnic invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of:

Administrative Officer - Department of Student Services
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs assessment and provide first level support to students with SEN.
  • Coordinate programmes and activities for students with SEN.
  • Procure services or Assistive Technology devices for students with SEN.
  • Maintain the Assistive Technology devices library at the SEN Centre.
  • Perform and provide administrative support to other areas of student services during peak periods.
Requirements:
  • Prior work experience in assessment of special needs and advisory for the management of students with SEN is advantageous
  • Experienced in coordination of administrative support in an organization
  • Meticulous in handling data and book keeping of fund accounts
  • Minimum 4 years of experience and relevant qualification in the area of special needs' support
